Taigh-logaichean/Log House

The timers of this log house were hewn according to building methods used in the early 1800's. It was built using materials available to the settler. The house is modeled on an original log dwelling constructed by the MacEachern family, Highland settlers to the River Denys Basin in the early 1800's.
