Eaglais Mhalgawatch/Malagawatch Chruch C.1874

Originally built as the Malagawatch Union Presbyterian Church in 1874, this building served the predominantly Gaelic-spaking congregation of Malagawatch and the River Denys Basin for well over a century. The congregation joined the United Church of canada in 1925. It was moved across the Bras d'Or Lakes to the Highland Village Museum in the fall of 2005.
